ENMA
Student Performance Assessment
Approach: Assessment
of student performance in ENMA courses can provide an indicator of how
effective a course is in meeting course and program objectives. This assessment analyzes student level of
competency in each ENMA course with respect to each of the three primary ENMA program objectives. For each ENMA course, the tool outlines
specific behavioral or cognitive outcomes for each program objective,
identifies the format used to evaluate student performance, and describes three
distinct student competency levels for each objective. Using this tool, student performance levels
are tallied for each offering of each course.

Assessment
results are integrated with results from a number of other assessment tools,
and then used to generate annual ENMA program improvement activities. These improvement activities are summarized here.
In
addition to ENMA program assessment, two other assessment tools are used to
improve the program and courses:
·
ENMA Course Assessment: According to students, to what degree are
individual courses meeting student needs?
·
ENMA Program Assessment: According to students and program alumni, how
well is the ENMA program achieving its goals goals?
