Master of Science in Engineering Management Program

ENMA Assessment and Improvement

The Marquette University Master of Science in Engineering Management Program is jointly offered by the College of Engineering and the Graduate School of Management.  Four separate assessment mechanisms are utilized by the College of Engineering to direct continuous improvement activities for the elements of the ENMA program offered by Engineering:

1.      Individual student performance is assessed using a grading system based on the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) A-K criteria.

2.      Student performance by class is assessed using the mechanism established by the Marquette University Graduate School of Business to conform to the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accreditation.

3.      Course and instructor assessment, formerly performed using the Instructional Assessment System (IAS) Form X tool, now uses the on-line Marquette MOCES survey.

4.      Program assessment is conducted though surveys of current ENMA students using a tool developed in response to University requirements to conform to North Central Association accreditation directives.  A similar tool is used to survey program graduates to determine career impact of the program.
