ENMA Course Assessment and Results

Approach:  Prior to Fall 2008, Marquette University utilized the Instructional Assessment System (IAS) Form X tool for undergraduate course and instructor assessment (http://www.washington.edu/oea/services/course_eval/index.html).  For this period IAS Form X was the primary instruction assessment tool used for ENMA courses.

In Fall 2008, the University adopted an on-line course assessment survey tool.  This tool will be described as information becomes available

Results:  The directory of results for ENMA course assessments is currently being updated.

Deployment:  Assessment results are integrated with results from a number of other assessment tools, and then used to generate annual ENMA program improvement activities.  These improvement activities are summarized here.

Other ENMA Assessment Tools

In addition to ENMA course and instructor assessment, two other assessment tools are used to improve the program and courses:

·         ENMA Student Assessment:  To what degree are students achieving course goals?

·         ENMA Program Assessment:  To what degree is the overall program meeting goals?
