ENMA Course Element Cross-Reference


 

ENMA courses use a variety of elements to achieve course learning goals. Here is a brief summary of the elements, which is followed by a cross-reference showing which elements are used in which ENMA courses.  It should be noted that certain of these elements have been or are planned to be converted to live/on-line hybrid media, as noted in the cross-reference.

 

Lectures, Tutorials1, and Case Studies:

·         Instructor presentations

·         Required text(s)

·         Supplemental reading

·         Exams/Quizzes

·         Reports – Written homework submissions

·         Presentations – Oral presentations of homework submissions

 

Team Projects2, Personal Projects3:

·         Weekly deliverables – Oral presentations of project deliverables

·         Final report – Written final project report

·         Final presentations – Oral presentation of final project report

·         Peer Review – Assessment of team project presentations

 

Notes:

1.      Tutorials are associated with specific tools or software used in the course

2.      Team projects are conducted with industry/business sponsors

3.      Personal projects are equivalent to team projects, except that they are executed by one student vs. a team of students.
